Courthouse Clock Tower Restoration

Wayne County Courthouse

Wayne County, West Virginia

After sustaining continued water damage over the years, the Wayne County Courthouse Clock Tower was in disrepair. Utilizing a matching grant provided by the State of West Virginia, Wayne County engaged Edward Tucker Architects to lead the restoration of the community’s focal point.

The scope of work for the project included repair of damages structural framing, cupola restoration, finish replacement, replacement of the interior access ladder and platform system, and rehabilitation of historic clock faces.
