Edward Tucker Architects was selected by Kings Daughter’s Medical Center to design a new Central Sterile Processing Department, occupying 20,000 square feet of renovated hospital space. Completed with a budget of $9.5 million, the Central Sterile Department provides sterile equipment for 10 general surgery O.R.’s and 3 cystoscopy rooms. The space includes updated staff lockers and break space, increased storage for supplies, and a flow of work to create seamless movement of equipment out of the department.
